Holiday Inn Express Barcelona City 22@, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is located in a good area with the nearest metro station, Llacuna (yellow line), 5 min walk. Most of the tourist attraction are well connected or you are switch to other lines. Just 3-5 min walking you have Mercadona (for grocery) and street full of restaurants for dinning. Room in which I stayed was sufficiently big for a couple with one kid (1 double bed and 1 sofa bed). Breakfast is very good with lot of options and they have a big dinning area.

Location was pretty good. To Cittadela park it took us 20-25min by walk. Breakfast is very simple, but tasty. Sometimes it can be very crowded so you need to wait to be seated (we were here for the holidays maybe thats why) But the biggest surprise was stuff - so proffesional, very kind and friendly, the recepcionist showed us the map and the most important locations and we didnt even ask for help. Also, we had flight back home very early and they told us that buffet restauraunt is open even tho it was 6 oclock in the morning and that we can have breakfast. 10/10 Thanks! ❤️

We stayed as a family of 4 in one room . 2 boys aged 10 & 13 had the sofa bed . A functional clean room. Staff were lovely and informative. Buffet Breakfast was very good & kept us going until dinner in late afternoon. There was a room to leave our bags until we were ready to catch the train south along the coast . Excellent location in Poblenou near a good variety of restaurants on the Rambla Poblenou & beach is a 15 minute leisurely walk . Metro stop Llacuna is 5 mins walk away from the hotel & gives access to the whole city . It’s well connected to all the major highlights of the city .

We arrived to the hotel earlier than normal check in hoping to just store our bags until the rooms were ready. The staff was great and allowed us to check in to our rooms early.

Great location! Hotel is better than average hotel. The complimentary breakfast every morning was exceptional, with lots of options and was kept very clean and well stocked. We arrived earlier than anticipated for our stay and were able to store our luggage in a locked room for no additional charge while we walked to eat lunch and wait for our room to be ready. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed. The only sort of odd thing is the shower, the glass door can move and would swing open while showering, and if you weren't careful water could spill out of the shower, making the floor wet. Other than that everything was wonderful.
